FlowStop and VINCI Autoroutes test canals in the south of France
In June 2023, FlowStop deployed its devices to waterproof the canals of the Vinci freeways.
These canals are located on both sides of the freeways and are used to drain off rainwater that has fallen on the asphalt.
These canals sometimes need to be blocked for maintenance work. Before FlowStop, a concrete wall would be erected and then destroyed.
With FlowStop, in just 3 minutes, the channel is watertight, the water can’t get through and the work can be carried out. This saves considerable time and money.
– Flooding of the section in question (height 15,74 pouce) by a tanker truck
– Immersion of a control drum, deemed perfectly watertight, filled with water to a height of 15,74 pouce
– Measurement of the difference in level between D+0 and D+3 in the canal and in the control drum, taking into account their respective volumes.
