Width is always custom-made and measured to the nearest centimeter.
Round up to the next centimeter — example: 99.5 cm → 100 cm.

Yes, FlowStop is designed to fit most openings : front doors, garage doors, glass doors, gates, interior doors, etc. Each device is custom-made to the dimensions of your opening.
You need to precisely measure the width and height of the opening. The width is always custom-made and should be rounded up to the next centimeter (e.g. : 99.5 cm becomes 100 cm).
FlowStop can be manufactured between 60 cm and 700 cm wide. Beyond 220 cm, installing support straps becomes mandatory.
Yes. The standard heights are 80 cm and 100 cm. These ensure good system stability and correspond respectively to water protection heights of 70 cm and 90 cm. Specific heights are available on request but remain the exception.
The system is perfectly suited to concrete, rendered, roughcast, or natural stone facades. The compression seal compensates for irregularities up to 1 cm.
Limestone facades or those covered with cladding don’t allow the seal to guarantee optimal watertightness.
The opening must allow at least two-thirds of the FlowStop’s thickness to rest against the wall. In practice, a minimum depth of 10 to 13 cm is generally required depending on the width of the device.
Yes. The system is designed to rest on two-thirds of its thickness. As a result, about one-third of the FlowStop naturally sticks out from the opening.
No. They’re only required for wide FlowStop units. The number depends on the size of the device : one strap beyond 2 m, two straps beyond 2.30 m, and four straps for very large widths.
No. The straps and carabiners are included, but the ground anchors (anchors, screws, or other fixings) are the customer’s responsibility, so they can be matched to the existing surface.
Several elements can get in the way of installation :
- sliding glass doors;
- baseboards taller than 7 mm;
- door handles;
- door stops.
These elements should be taken into account when measuring.
Not necessarily. However, if they’re taller than 7 mm, they can compromise watertightness. In that case, it’s recommended to add a shim or an extra seal.
Yes. Depending on their position, they can prevent the FlowStop from being installed. In some cases, a slightly narrower or shorter device will be needed.
Door stops prevent the FlowStop from resting fully against the ground, which compromises watertightness. They must be removed when installing the device.
Yes, certain specific dimensions can be made on request. However, standard dimensions are preferred to ensure the best performance of the system.
