1. FlowStop products
FlowStop is made from Drop stitch, a technology made of a mesh of thousands of nylon fibers between two layers of high-density PVC.
It is an inflatable flood protection device that protects doors, French doors, garage doors and all types of openings. It requires no prior construction work, inflates in a few minutes and is easy to store.
FlowStop is used by homeowners, businesses and local authorities in France, Europe and North America.

Handle
High-quality tarpaulin handle, triple-stitched.
PVC Drop Stitch Fabric
PVC membranes woven with nylon threads. Technology taken from stand-up paddleboards, sports mats and aerospace & defense packaging.
Inflation valve
Suitable for both low and high pressures, very high airtightness (silicone seal), compact with an ergonomic cap and PUSH-PUSH opening.
EPDM seal
Black · 8 cm wide · 2 cm thick. Ensures watertightness all around the device.
Tarpaulin
Cast vinyl film coated with a specific adhesive for permanent adhesion to the PVC edges.

A closer look at drop stitch technology

Drop stitch is a technology made of thousands of vertical nylon threads connecting two layers of PVC.
When the FlowStop is inflated, these threads prevent vertical stretching and ensure a stable, rigid shape.
This structure provides excellent resistance to pressure and deformation.

5. Compatible surfaces
The compression seal fills gaps or irregularities of up to 1 cm . FlowStop therefore adapts to most surfaces.
Rendered concrete facade
Ideal surface for fitting the device.
Roughcast facade
The seal fills small irregularities perfectly.
Natural stone
The seal fills irregularities by compressing.
Incompatible surfaces
FlowStop cannot be installed on limestone facades, on cladding (wood, aluminum or PVC that is too flexible), or on plasterboard lining: the seal does not fill the irregularities sufficiently and the pressure applied could damage the surface. On a surface that is too smooth (aluminum, painted wood), the device slides upward — an anti-slip strip, included with the order, is then required on each side.
6. Reveal depth
The depth of the frame must be at least ⅔ of the thickness of the FlowStop (so the device protrudes by ⅓) to provide enough contact surface with the wall.
