Thursday March 22, 2024 saw the inauguration of the Centre d’Essais Inondation in Baziège, 25 kilometers from Toulouse. This project, led by FloodFrame with the support of La Région Occitanie and Allianz, aims to provide the region with a high-performance tool for simulating real-life conditions and testing the effectiveness of flood protection solutions.
The test center provides an ideal environment where companies can put different technologies and equipment to the test in the fight against flood disasters, evaluate their effectiveness and obtain accurate data.
FlowStop had deployed a 200 cm-wide, 80 cm-high device within an opening that replicates a bay window.
Valves are used to raise the water level and simulate flooding in real-life conditions.
