Lège-Cap Ferret Protects Itself with FlowStop

Faced with the growing threat of marine submersion, the town of Lège-Cap Ferret has decided to bring out the… inflatable artillery! As high tides approach, the FlowStop solution, in partnership with Wave Bumper, is proving to be an innovative and effective response to protect oyster huts.

In Claouey, 13 FlowStop inflatable barriers were deployed this week. Their quick installation allows the oyster huts to be protected while enabling professionals to continue working and living with peace of mind.

• The upper section inflates first, securing FlowStop laterally.
• The lower section then inflates, ensuring ground sealing and preventing water infiltration.

This ingenious design guarantees effective protection in just a few minutes—an invaluable asset for oyster farmers and merchants who cannot afford to halt their activities due to rising waters.
